About

I’m a 40- something -year-old woman living in Jersey City, NJ with my Irish husband, two young girls and our loyal hound dog.  I’m a bit overweight, slightly lazy, hormonal, moody and introverted.  I like to write shit down when I have the time to do it.  I am a journalistic sociologist at heart but a techie by employ.  Stupid how I let that happen.

One evening in late 2015, at the end of an intense technical training on the future of autonomous driving, I found myself sitting in a hotel room in Chicago, half a bottle of Malbec in, desperately needing an outlet   So I paid my $99 and started this blog.  Maybe it will act as more of a modern day journal than anything else.  I don’t know yet.

I do know that lately I feel as if time is slipping by so quickly, way too quickly.  I want more time with less delay.  There is this sense of immediacy that I can’t shake.  Do it now if I can.  Try it.  If I like it soak in it for awhile.  If something sucks rail against it.

Dabble, linger, rant.
